Glamour Girl

 

Somehow, the Jem and the Holograms theme song got stuck in my head, and I felt the urge to try and draw an 80's glam-rock girl. Can't say I'm stoked on the fashions of the time, but I love the wild manes of hair from that era.

Playing around with alternative outfit designs, but I'm terrible with costuming, so I mainly just keep falling back on the same elements.

 Possible work-in-progress, but we'll see.

Painted Wings

 

Playing with the oil paint brushes in Adobe Fresco. Unlike most art programs, the paints in this one really look like thick streaks of paint, with easily discernible texturing. I did this one in about thirty minutes on a lunch break, and couldn't decide on a background. Might be fun to try a more fully realized painting with this engine, though.
