Blindfold Lady
The Blindfolded Warrior Woman seen in Exharks #2, member of the Brixity Troubleshooters. Made up on the spot as I was writing the episode, I purposefully kept her mysterious. I don't think she'll be reappearing again, but she was fun to write for the brief time she was featured. Possibly, I may reuse her concept elsewhere. For now, though, I have yet to even come up with a name for her. Her outfit is supposed to be pitch-black, but that made it too difficult to render the folds of her outfit, so I lightened it to gray.

Power Paintress!
Been readin' some 90s comics lately, felt the need to make a new, doofy superhero! Couldn't decide on a color scheme, though I figure she's got reddish-orange hair.

Big Tent Battle
Olivia (from Stoneburners), Alexis (from Entirely Presenting You), and Allison (from The New Humans) battle Ayla and her Beautiful People (from Music Masters) in her giant circus tent.
This picture ended up a lot less involved than I intended; I pictured a big, panoramic fight scene, but realized I didn't want to draw dozens of those monster folk to fill the image. I also intended to color and shade this one, but haven't felt like doing it yet. For now, here's the black and white sketch.

Colors of Power
I may have more to say about it later, but as of now, I'm not sure this idea is going anywhere.
Part of what got me drawing again recently is the desire to try my hand at a web comic. Believing my skills to be sub-par, and also not wishing to spend several days on a single page, I tried to come up with an art gimmick that would let me create and post pages at a reasonably quick speed.
The idea was to do a simple, black-and-white comic set in a world that was literally, in-universe, a black and white world. However, recently, a strange phenomenon has occurred in this reality, causing some people to manifest superhuman powers. The gimmick is that whenever a superhuman uses their powers, there is an accompanying splash of color to go with it.
I'm still pretty raw on the concept, no real story formed yet, and I'm not entirely settled on how the colors should line up to the powers. I have notes written up, but I don't really want to clutter this post with too much text.
While I don't think this "comic" is going to manifest, especially as I'm already getting more confident in doing full-color work, I still like some of these sketches.

Thunderstar
Thunderstar is a member of Natural Forces, one of several superhero teams created post-Old Multiverse. I should probably do a retrospective on them at some point. Thunderstar is an alien who crash landed on Earth and joined the heroes mostly out of chance, but it is later revealed she is actually a spy sent to assess the outbreak of super powers on Earth.
The suit design is actually far older than the character. The idea is that the lightning lines are constantly shifting around the black material, so every time I draw the suit, its a different configuration.

Swan with scythe
This is Swan from the Intrepid. Funnily enough, I used to always draw her wielding a scythe, even though she never uses one in story. I just like the visual a lot for some reason.
Blue Jay at Kansas City
This is Blue Jay from the Mystic Missouri setting, overlooking some ruins in Kansas City that have been subsumed by the Mist Wall. In the background you can also see Cardinal and Kestrel. All three are members of the Aevir, the resident powerhouses of the setting.
Graven Cast
This is the cast of my web novel Graven, which you can read here. From left to right, we have: Shoggoth, Hitchhiker, Strider, Earth Mage, and Max-Out. Hardest part, aside from making it legible, was making sure I got the relative height differences right, and remember all the hair and eye colors.
