Bit of a slop-job, but I didn't feel like re-drawing. I did the line work maybe a month ago, decided to color and shade it today. I kind of screwed up on the layering. Oh, well.
This was the original plan I had for the main cast of my self-insert, self-flagellation serial tentatively titled SalQuest. I went a long time refusing to write it, and then when I finally decided to, the way events proceeded basically chucked this whole team idea out the window. If the project continues, there is still a chance for this group to assemble, but I don't know how yet.
From left to right we have:
Mimicat - A retroactively applied member of the Fantastic Felines, a feline parody version of the Fantastic Four. He possesses all the powers of his teammates, but at half their level. This includes: superhuman strength and agility, spider-web creation, force fields, laser beams, and freezing beams.
Crotia - A mystic warrior winged woman who appeared in a small JRPG project of mine. The lore behind it all is too complicated to summarize here, but in short she's a woman who was living in a JRPG-esque simulated reality, whose world was destroyed, and she had to find a way to survive and escape another simulated reality. Aside from her wings for flight, she has an array of elemental spells.
Salvador Roberts - The Handsomest Sad Sack in the multiverse. A not-so-young man tortured by his failures, who lands in a universe based on his own creations. Confronted by his own characters, and the utter disaster of all their worlds being smashed together into one combined world, Sal goes on a Quest ostensibly to salvage the situation, while constantly fending on his own depression and anxiety. He has no powers save for a "locator" ability that lets him track
The Weaponeer - A side character and quasi-antagonist from the Intrepid Universe, she is mainly interested in having a good fight with "worthy opponents". Possesses the ability to summon indestructible versions of melee weapons, insanely fast healing factor, and "super human combat power", enabling her to strike with incredible speed and strength.
Sustra and Dogoro - A pair of wandering adventurers, Sustra travels various worlds seeking a sense of purpose after her destiny was denied her. She is a skunk demi-beast-goddess, empowered with ability to shift into human and humanoid form, has enhanced strength, speed, durability, and healing, has learned several forms of magic in her travels, wields multiple enchanted weapons, and has innate authority over small mammals. For all her interesting surface-level features, though, she has an incredibly bland and blase personality.
Making up for this is Dogoro, a talking hat who is the last remnant of a great and powerful wizard. Possessing a vast array of mystical powers, but the personality of a curmudgeonly yet boisterous old man, Dogoro makes up for Sustra's lack of personality, while Sustra is perhaps the only person capable of not getting exasperated with the old hat long-term.
