SomethingTober #03 - Brick Man

Brickman was one of many, many second-stringer heroes running around the Power Universe. Although he did appear in at least one comic I drew, I didn't really develop him at all beyond said appearance. A member of the short-lived hero team the Justice Force, he was that groups' primary muscle. Despite his jacked appearance, however, he was on the lower end of the strong guy rating in the setting, which is to say he was impressive compared to the average hero, but most heroes with "super strength" as their primary ability punched well above his weight class.

Aside from strength, though, he had the ability to telekinetically control bricks. Yes, bricks, specifically, the kind used to build buildings, but not any other kind of earth or rock. I have no idea what the reason for this limitation was, but all things considered, he could control quite a large mass of it at once, and so even against much physically stronger foes, he was capable of battering them down with a tidal wave of bricks. Like most any elemental, telekinetic control of any substance lends quite a bit of utility, enabling him to quickly build temporary structures held together through his power, collapse structures made from bricks, fly by riding a brick slab, create defensive walls, etc.

I don't recall an origin for him, but he was very likely one of the many escaped Company mutants, and I think prior to that, he had some military background. If I were to reboot this character today, I'd make him an all-around geokinetic who simply favored using brick-shaped chunks of earth or stone to work with as a personal quirk.
